P.E. Kit

All children are expected to wear their house school P.E. kit, either a red (Wightwick), yellow (Moseley), blue (Boscobel) or green (Bantock) t-shirt along with Navy blue shorts, pumps/trainers.

Rings and Jewellery

The wearing of jewellery is not allowed at Northwood Park Primary School. Ear studs are allowed but they must be removed for P.E., games and swimming for obvious safety reasons. Other forms of body piercing, including the helix or other cartilage in the upper part of the ear, are not allowed at our school.

Valuables

Items of real value including electronic items and toys are not allowed in school. Whilst we exercise normal care in school we cannot guarantee the safe keeping of such items and so will not take responsibility for them.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones are not allowed in school, but we do understand that for safety reasons you may want your child to carry one if they are walking home alone. Year 5 & Year 6 (who have permission from parents to walk home alone) can bring phones with them but at the start of the day they should be handed to the office and collected at the end of the day.

Lost Clothing

We make every possible attempt to recover lost property. However this task is made much easier if all items of school clothing are marked with your child’s name either with a name label or indelible pen. Any items of property handed into school are placed in lost property Phase Leaders. At the end of each term, you and your child will get the opportunity to examine all Lost Property which may have been mislaid.

We are extremely grateful for the continued support we receive from parents in ensuring our children are disciplined, smart and well dressed in their school uniform.
